Honey & Cinnamon

I started feeling like I was coming down with a cold. A few days before the Adam Ant concert!! I remembered seeing this natural remedy on Pinterest (I can’t find the pin right now, I’ll link it later when I find it) ***Found it!

Mix 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon into 1 teaspoon of raw, organic honey until the cinnamon is thoroughly blended in (the honey won’t be be dry anymore). Take this 3 times a day & your cold will be gone in 2-3 days. I mixed it in a Chinese soup spoon, with a toothpick.

This is how it looks when the cinnamon is thoroughly mixed in. The flavor, color & consistency will depend on the type of honey & brand of cinnamon you use. It will resemble melted caramel or chocolate:

I started taking this mixture on a Monday. I felt like I had a mild cold. Tuesday I felt poorly. I was worried that I wouldn’t be well enough to attend the concert I’ve waited for my whole life!!

By Wednesday afternoon I was feeling LOADS better! I took a dose on Thursday morning, the day of the concert, and felt great!

I didn’t get as ill as I usually do & not for nearly as long as usual.

The cinnamon-honey mixture is strong, even for a cinnamon lover like me. But it’s yummy & does the job quickly. I was taking it slowly, a little at a time because I thought it would be too strong to take all at once. I took it all at once this morning & it wasn’t too strong.

I highly recommend this natural remedy!
